  • Once payment is done than normally cannot be cancelled.
  • Cannot use this option to make a Federal Tax Deposit.
  • You do not require payment vouchers, by using this mode of payment.
  • If you overpaid, IRS will refund the overpaid amount after processing the tax return (excluding balance due or debt on your account)
  • Your card statement will show the tax payment debited by "United States Treasury Tax Payment." and for the processing fee will show debited by "Tax Payment Convenience Fee" or similar to that.
